SAN ANTONIO, September 30, 2008 – Ideawire, Inc. earned three Silver Quills at IABC’s Annual Regional contest, hosted in Denver. It also worked on projects that earned an additional two Silver Quills by USAA.

The awards are all in print projects: for the Inside USAA newsletter, the USAA Employee Benefits Enrollment Guide and the USAA Wellness Brochure. USAA work won a total of five awards.

“We can’t wait to receive these – the Silver Quills mark Ideawire’s successes at a national level,” said Ideawire President Mark Harlien. Both Ideawire and USAA plan on traveling to Colorado this month to accept the awards together.

For 2009 Quill consideration, Ideawire is taking some of USAA’s print projects to a digital, online format, saving USAA money and expanding media scope for employee communication. This strategy includes providing options for mobile devices. “We’ve had Blackberry development tools for some time, and were recently informed by Apple Inc. that our application as an iPhone developer had been approved,” Harlien said. “So I hope we have more results for our clients for next year’s Quills.”

SAN ANTONIO, May 30, 2008 - Ideawire, Inc. earned the most awards in the IABC San Antonio’s 2008 Bronze Quill Award of Excellence contest.

Ideawire received six IABC Bronze Quill awards in Publication Design, Other Graphic Design and Photography categories for its work on San Antonio-based USAA projects.

Sixteen winners received awards of excellence and 26 received awards of merit; Ideawire won more awards than any single company with five awards of excellence and one award of merit. The awards were presented May 29 in San Antonio at the Witte Museum.
